Wow! Greystones LTC Men win Class 1 Summer League!

Greystones LTC have never reached the pinnacle of DLTC’s Dublin League in its 115 year history UNTIL NOW! Last Saturday 24 June Greystones Mens 1 – Ciaran Fitzgerald, Ordhan O’Sullivan-Hamill, Niall Fitzgerald, Stewart Doyle & Tommy Hamilton, Colm Og Molloy (captain) & Garbhan O’Nuallain finally achieved that by beating Fitzwilliam’s 1st in a nail-biting Summer League final held in  Naas. It was brilliant tennis and a brilliant day!

Congratulations to the team and their team-mates Shane O’Donnell and Nick Malone who played along the way on this fantastic achievement. Having been close to winning on the top Summer League class on quite a few occasions over the last 30 years and having won Class 1 in 2012 (when it was separated from premier) this win is especially sweet and well deserved! Well done the men!! The club is so proud.
