Our New-to-You Fashion Pop-Up Sale on February 28/29 and March 1 raised a fantastic €3k! Well done to Ailish Byrne, Anne Quigley, Dana Bradshaw, Marie McCooey, Orla O’Shea, Ruth Adams, Therese Ryan and Conor Woods – THE DREAM TEAM – who put in many hours to make this event a success. A huge team effort.
A few other special mentions must go to Doreen, our wonderful Lady Captain, Ailish and Dana’s Mom, Mary Byrne of Bomar Aromatherapy, Kathy Scott, our Junior Captain, Arnie McFadden and Hugh Nohilly of Intercake and the many many volunteers among our lady members who gave their time on Friday, Saturday and
Sunday checking people in, serving teas/coffees, selling tickets and helping with the sale etc and of course enjoying the social evening on Friday night.
And of course our members and friends who made this a success. Thanks for providing and donating your unwanted and gently loved clothes, baking lovely cakes, making donations, coming down to support the event and spreading the word among your family and friends. Without you it couldn’t be done.
The funds raised from this event will go towards the re-surfacing of courts.
