This year we have a new date for the Greystones South Leinster Senior Open over the May Bank holiday weekend 2 – 6 May 2019 so keep your diary free. Greystones is a perfect destination weekend for tennis so we are hoping for entries not only from within our own club, Dublin and around Leinster but also from further afield in Ireland and even abroad. If you have friends and family let them know it’s on – we want to extend a warm welcome and ensure everyone has a great weekend.
THE TENNIS
Of course tennis is taking centre stage and again this year Michael Quinn and Therese Ryan will make sure it all runs smoothly. What you need to know….
- There’s events for everyone – Graded events include mens and ladies singles, mens and ladies doubles and mixed covering Class 2/3, 4/5 , 6/7 & non league.
- Matches will be held on Thursday and Friday evening (Thursday only for those within Leinster), all day Saturday and Sunday. The finals are on Monday with everything due to wrap up by mid-afternoon. An optional social tournament for early round losers will also be held on Monday.
- Cash prizes for the winners.
