Young Women Leadership Conference – 2 December
Tennis Ireland is having its first Young Women Leadership Conference and is inviting clubs to nominate one female club member (16 years – 25 years old) to be part of this initiative. The start date for this programme is December 2nd 2020. This conference will be delivered online by the National Coordinator for Women in Tennis, Grainne O’Neill. The Greystones LTC representative will have an opportunity to discuss and collaborate on how to grow tennis for young Irish women, empower future leaders in our sport and provide a platform for them to voice their opinions and bring about effective change.
Application forms
Tennis Ireland requires an application form (and consent form if applicable) to be completed which must be approved by the Club Committee.

Deadline for form submission to Club – 17 November
Females 18-25 who are interested in being our club representative please email chair@greystonesltc.ie by close of business on Friday 13th November or send Ailish a text on 0872380265. The application is straightforward and asks applicants to provide a personal statement indicating what “you hope to achieve from participating in the programme and how it will help build your skills, knowledge and benefit you personally. Please also indicate how participating will benefit your local club.”
The Club would need to have this returned by Tuesday 17th November as the nominated female must be approved by the Club Committee and the completed form must be sent to Tennis Ireland by Friday 20th November so it is a very tight timeframe.
